Universe vs God

There is something that I feel led to clear up that I’ve been noticing lately. People are beginning to get the terms “universe” and “God” mixed up. Any kind of spiritual intervention is created from the Almighty God. The universe or nature itself isn’t responsible for anything good that occurs in your life. God is Elohim–the Creator and Judge of the Universe. The moon being in a certain position or certain phase does not bring you any blessings or freedom from “bad energy.” This may be a touchy subject for some people, but people really need to see the truth in it all and I’m not afraid to expose those lies. Planet Earth does Not provide you with anything whatsoever. Everything that we see was created by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We wouldn’t have the Earth if God did not create it. There is absolutely NO power in the Earth itself. There is only two sources of power: Good and Evil. There is the power that is stemmed from God, which is always good and the power stemmed from the devil which is always evil. All of us have an innate longing for a sense of purpose and identity that can only be fulfilled by God alone. There is a constant battle between darkness and light to capture your attention (Ephesians 6:12). The devil uses many tactics to mimic God’s goodness and tries to lure you in to temporarily satisfy you whether it be by alcohol, drugs, occult’s, pornography, etc. God is supreme and nothing can ever replace the role he was meant to have in your life.

Colossians 1:15-17 TPT states “He is the divine portrait, the true likeness of the invisible God, and the first-born heir of all creation. For through the Son everything was created, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. Every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority—it was all created through him and for his purpose! He existed before anything was made, and now everything finds completion in him.”

Another couple of scripture verses that stand out to me in regards to this topic are: Colossians 3:1-2, 4 and Psalm 19:1.

Without God we are absolutely nothing, we are not wise, we are not strong, we are not enough, and we don’t have it all together (Romans 3:23). We are Enough because of Christ being crucified on the cross. We are able to be wise by knowing God and seeking his Word. We are Strong through Christ alone, we can’t do anything without him (John 15:5). The only thing that gets me through the day is knowing that he resides within me and when I don’t spend enough time with God or put him on the back-burner I’ve noticed that hell breaks lose in my life. The moments when I don’t feel enough are when I don’t proclaim his Word over my life. He defines who I am, not the world or the things in it.

Never forget that scripture compares our righteousness (without God) as “filthy rags” in Isaiah 64:6 however when Christ died for us, our righteousness was restored in him. So depend on Him alone and I promise you will Never be disappointed (Philippians 4:19).
